Compare modules, assessment methods and the academic background expected for the programme. A familiar teaching language is useful, but it does not make an unsuitable subject a good fit. Confirm the language of lectures, assignments and any placement directly with the programme.
Keep evidence requirements separate
A Chinese-taught route may specify HSK; an English-taught route may specify English evidence and its own exemptions. Read the exact programme and funding notices. Do not carry an HSK threshold from one teaching route into another or assume that English teaching removes every Chinese-related requirement.
Plan for learning after admission
