Read the admission documents closely
Campus China recommends checking the programme, study duration, teaching language, registration dates, location and required documents in your admission materials. Resolve mismatches with the university before arranging travel. Keep the original documents and a separate digital copy.
Admission, scholarship selection and arrival registration can have different instructions. Confirm whether an award has actually been granted and which costs it covers; do not budget on an application receipt or a preliminary university letter.
Confirm housing and the first day
Ask the university about accommodation availability, reservation, check-in times and payment. Keep the campus address in Chinese, the international-student office contact and an arrival-day route. Plan for delays and an alternative place to stay if university check-in is unavailable.
Use a practical budget for transport, meals, deposits and initial living costs. Check local weather and essential supplies. These details are best confirmed with the host, because an official national guide cannot establish your particular campus arrangements.
Use current official travel instructions
The Campus China page is a preparation overview, not a current visa decision for your nationality and stay. Check the Chinese embassy or consulate and your university for the applicable application process and documents. Follow the university’s current instructions for any admission-related forms.
On arrival, complete the registration and other required formalities within the timeframes given by the university and relevant authorities. Keep copies of your submissions and contact the international-student office promptly if your arrival date changes.
