Start with your existing evidence
List tasks you have completed in study, internships or employment. Look for transferable strengths: organising records, analysing numbers, following a process or coordinating people. Choose a role family where those strengths are useful, rather than collecting unrelated certificates.
Use actual responsibilities to narrow the choice
Read a few relevant adverts and choose one task that appears repeatedly in your own shortlist. This is a way to focus your preparation, not evidence that the task dominates the whole market. Try a small project before investing in a long training programme.
Maintain two progress measures
For the language track, use an explicitly chosen HSK target and review the question formats. For the professional track, measure whether you can complete and explain the task accurately. Review both tracks after a short study cycle; a score and a work sample answer different questions.
